Introduction
Currently, diabetic is a disease that silently takes root in the body.When blood glucose or sugar increases excessively, it is called diabetes. Once it occurs,it has to be controlled for life.It is possible to control this disease to a large extent through proper diet, regular exercise, and lifestyle changes.
What
Diabetes is a condition in which the body cannot produce enough insulin or insulin does not work properly. As a result, blood glucose levels increase.
Types
Type 1 diabetes:
The body cannot produce insulin. Usually occurs in children or young adults.
Type 2 diabetes:
Even if the body produces insulin, it does not work properly. This is the most common.
Gestational diabetes:
This occurs when blood sugar levels increase during pregnancy.
Causes of diabetes
Overweight or obesity
Irregular eating and fast food
Lack of exercise
Family or genetic factors
Stress and lack of sleep
Symptoms
Excessive urination
Frequent thirst
Excessive hunger
Fatigue or weakness
Slow healing of wounds

Complications
If diabetes is not controlled—

Ways to control
Walk or exercise for at least 30 minutes every day.
Avoid sugar, sweets, soft drinks.
Eat vegetables, pulses, brown rice, fruits.
Maintain adequate sleep and mental peace.
Test your blood sugar regularly.
If necessary, take medicine or insulin as per your doctor’s advice.
Diet for the patient
Oats or eggs in the morning
Brown rice, lentils, vegetables in the afternoon
Light meals and salads in the evening
Drink plenty of water
Avoid fast food and foods with excess oil
