The following tests are done as per the doctor’s advice:
1.Peripheral Blood Smear (PBS) — Plasmodium is seen in a blood sample
2.Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) — Results are available quickly
3.CBC (Complete Blood Count) — Blood platelets and hemoglobin are checked

What is the Treatment for Malaria?

  • First of all, visit a doctor and do a blood test.

  • Take specific antimalarial drugs such as Chloroquine, and take Paracetamol for fever (only on the advice of the doctor).

  • Get ample rest and drink plenty of water.

  • If the condition becomes complicated, doctors may admit you to the hospital.

1.Use a mosquito net while sleeping at night
2.Use mosquito repellent lotion or spray in the evening
3.Drain stagnant water around the house
4.Clean vases, drains, coolers, etc. regularly
5.Keep the house clean, prevent mosquito breeding
Malaria is preventable and can be completely cured with proper treatment. But the most important thing is caution and cleanliness
